Persepolis

Is a comic book although with a real moving story behind it. The book is about a young spiritited girl growing up in revelutionary and wartime iran. It blends history with a personal account. It shows the horrors of fundamentalism and what happens when dick head dictators get in to power. It is truly moving and i can't recommend it enough, if you can find it.
