Short Term Memory
Does anyone have a problem with their short term memory? In that they can say something to a friend, be asked to repeat what they just said and be unable to recall it, then about five minutes or so later they can. Sorry if this post is a bit random.
I suffer from STML, sometimes I cant remember my name :)
It's Dufus. Write it down on a sticky note and put it on your monitor.
I can't remember...
sorry what was that again?
I knew you both could be relied upon to inject humour into an otherwise dull post :):)
yes I do...
yes I do what?
I have a friend who has odd memory blips which I find quite disturbing. She works at a computer five days a week. I wonder about tiredness and stress. Sometimes it may be the opposite - that you don't stimulate your mind enough in fact - keep it healthy. There's also the possibility that you may be short of a vitamin or two.
lol
:)
No I don't. Despite my smoking habits it would appear.
Oh yes I do. It's people's names I can't remember. I know who they are, what they do and why I know them but I'll be blowed if I know ther name. It's just so embarrassing.
I also increasingly forget what I'm doing in the middle of doing it - but I guess that's just old age and not the other thing. Cough cough.
Have you ever had a tool in your hand and walk around asking somebody if they've seen it (I had the thing just a minute ago)?
Over here, Radio, we call that 'flashing'.
Fish on...get the net!
*scratches head*
I definitely came in here for something.
