Scotland-the truth

We all know that the worlds leaders are coming to Scotland this year *bows and welcomes them* but what about the country of there destination. Scotland. I kind of believe that the people who run Scotland aren't even real scots. The old scots where real socialists what the hell has happened.

If we where to believe the Scottish tourist board then we would all think that Scotland is full of friendly haggisis running about playing bagpipes and smiling to everyone and being friendly. But this is far from the truth.

did you know:

that modern capitilism was founded by a scotsman

modern christianity was founded by a scotsman

did you know:

that there are more religious murders in Scotland than any other country in Europe bar Norn iron

that Scotlands biggest city is one of the poorest in europe yet the the 'Exec' spent about 456 million on a parliment which turns out shady contractors fleeced the taxpayer for up to 100 mill

did you know:

that suicide in Scotland is one of the highest in europe yet the country has virtually no services to help people who feel like this. Did you know in jan 2005 bbc scotland exposed series questions regarding Scotlands high suicide rates and showed that something wasn't right.

did you know:

Scotland has two of the biggest football clubs in the world in one city yet the same city has some of the worst housing in western society.

did you know:

that over all scots apart form the authority that all eat out of the state pie are amongst the unhappiest people in the world...

I don't thin there is a lot of happiness around. The other day I walked through the park and was amazed to see squirrels cavorting and capering in the park. One was doing little somersaults like a monkey and then rolling about in the woodchip mulch like a playful dog. When I reached the beach the donkey's were happily feeding from their nose-bag, eyes shut, contentedly chewing. Dogs were racing about rushing in and out of the sea like happy children. In fact the only signs of discontent were the 'grown up' who seemed to think that visting the beach was a duty, like going to church, which they had to perform before rushing off to the pub or the amusement arcades. Made me think that Adam and Eve should have avoided the Golden Delicious as all this knowlege doesn't seem to have brought much joy.
