Pretty please about folder deletion! : )

Sorry to pop this here (I tried e-mailing Mark), but…

Please can I (somehow) be given permission (as I have ‘insufficient privileges’ with certain bits of writing), to delete stuff of mine that I cannot edit?

I know it’s been mentioned before about writers’ pieces that picked up funny symbols when the upgrade happened a while ago, but I can’t even remove the symbols in some cases, because the ‘edit’ tab isn’t there!
Some of my sets are in need of a good ol’ spring clean, and I’d like to remove the folders that I can no longer change…

I also changed a set’s state to ‘private’ a while ago – how can writers change the state back to visible, please (as that option currently seems to be unavailable)?

That's weird! I, too, had a 'private' folder I wanted to make public; instead, I wound up deleting it and having to create a second, replicate folder (hence one of my folders' titles having a '2' after it). Why don't you have sufficient priviledges to edit, I wonder...?

I had a private folder and it became public without me requesting it. Ah, lifes rich tapestry **sighs**

Me too. I put all my pieces into private status, but now can't figure out how to make the work visible again. I've asked, received a polite reply saying, 'no-can-do, but will ask techie.' Since then (3/11), silence.

Oops - thanks for pointing this one out (again) - it's obviously not been remedied. I will kick the techie.

Best not to kick him until AFTER he's fixed it.
