Remorseful Naz

Is it just me or was Naseem Hamed's statement of remorse after being let out of prison a tad self-centred and insincere?

In case you missed it he attempted to express a few words of regret, but a subtext quickly emerged. What came across is that Naz thinks he is the real victim, having lost his freedom for four months. The gist of his pathetic self pitying message was that he had paid a high price while the guy he injured may have suffered a bit, but at least he hadn't died. So that's all right then.

I wouldn't have allowed him out of prison early with an attitude like that, and I'm a liberal.
