Is It A Full Moon?
... just wondering why i am so mad
You gonna do the surging then, Hox?
If it is a ripe moon tonight, I could be in danger of the odd howl or two, especially if that big lunk Pierre steps on my foot. Actually it's a myth about the wolves and the moon....but I do get a little loony from Luna.
Not as loony as Fish, though.
What is a husband/wife block? Can you get it at B & Q? What sort of nails do you need to hammer it in?
Pray what is wrong with a Rupert scarf Chant? Rupert is one of the best camp heroes in the kiddom.
Peculiar....I have suddenly got very hairy hands....pass the Immac, vicar.
Dribble.
My surging days are gone ,Andrea, but I manage a little ebbing and flowing from time to time.
The mind boggles...
There's a definite trembling in my thews. Must be the curry.
i was too, Tom. roll up! roll up! everybody witness the amazing ESP powers of Mr Tom Sa...
hang on a minute. Rupert Bear scarf?
I don't think so. Why are you mad? Are you out in the back garden washing dogs in milk or something? (*hopes not!*)
Its a Pink Moon
Yeah a Pink Moon
Pink Pink Pink Pink Pink Pink
a-Pink Moooon
Is everyone mad except me?
Ok to be mad Fish as long as your not barking mad...
I've got an imaginary ferret called Norman.
Mine's called Bryan.
Norman had a cousin called Bryan. Small world.
Mine was the singer a band called Foxy Music.
"in" I should say.
Now THAT is crazy, Tom.
Luna is fattest on Thursday and starts her diet weekend.
that explains it then
My father in law is affected by the moon and can act out of character during the full moon.

I didnt know it was a full moon till I stood in the garden and saw that it was about 2am this morning. It wasnt that cold either, but I could feel the grass under my bare feet and look at the moon (which was partially obscured by cloud). Fortunately for the neighbours I didnt howl nor turn into Wolverine.
the moon was really beautiful last night. The Japanese see a rabbit making rice cakes instead of a man in the moon. Sometimes I think I can see him!
'Full Moon and Little Frieda'
A cool small evening shrunk to a dog bark and the clank of a bucket --
And you listening.
A spider's web, tense for the dew's touch.
A pail lifted, still and brimming -- mirror
To tempt a first star to a tremor.
Cows are going home in the lane there, looping the hedges with their warm
wreaths of breath --
A dark river of blood, many boulders,
Balancing unspilled milk.
'Moon!' you cry suddenly, 'Moon! Moon!'
The moon has stepped back like an artist gazing amazed at a work
That points at him amazed.
-- Ted Hughes
I LOVE that poem.
that's odd. i was looking at that poem just the other day in a new poetry collection in Waterstones, Tom. you've clearly been working on your ESP.
Yes. There's a recording of Hughes reading it which is excellent. "Moon" is said mooooooon, as a young child would say in wonder, pointing up at the sky.
well i have just been to acupuncture and in combination with the full moon i have also got a "husband/wife block" ... what do you make of that then?
You were wearing your Rupert Bear scarf and eating a fried egg sandwich, Chant.
Narsty, Haddock. Could require surgery.
oh dear tom ... will something have to be ectomied?
Don't fret fishy, it's a simple op these days, keyhole surgery. Now, if you would just come and stand by this keyhole.........
