What percentage of students are on an Economics course?

I would hope, missi, that high earning high tax payers would see the wonderful and obvious benefits of living in a high tax country that... erm, I'm living in cloud cuckoo land. [%sig%]

seeing how the measure 'pans out' is not what i want poll tax or community charge to give it's official title (which no one ever used) was allowed to 'pan out' and that blew up in the government's face.. rail privatisation....another disaster, now thankfully, something i support the blair government on (you see tony we do support the givernment in some things) taking bak rail track into public ownership, the maintenance of the railways, and bit by bit, hopefully, all the franchises....

THEN, we can start on the utility companies, the telephone system, British Airways, prisoner transit security. THEN we can return the NHS to it's former glory when treatment, including dentistry, and prescriptions were 'free'. THEN we can reinstate trade apprenticeships so that those not making it to uni can be taught a worthwhile trade. THEN we can return all the building societies to mutual associations. THEN......

well fair enough martin and it's your right to campaign against it - most of this govt's measures have doubtless had their critics - some have been wrong - including getting miltarily involved to such a large extent in Iraq, former yugoslavia, afganistan etc- but most have been right including the first lot odf student loans- the fantastic progress in N.Ireland, the wonderful economic record of Gordon Brown and the heavier taxes on petrol & cigareetes

missi 'spot on' that Thatcher was a disastrous PM- and that's one of the reasons why I get so annoyed with the 'Blair witch hunt' on here- remember Foot and even Kinnock were unelectable - it took a qulity politician like Blair (helped by John Smith and Kinnock b4 him & others of course) to put together the team thsat saved us from the Tories- and all those who attack Tony Blair are in danger of giving us Howard as Pm - then we'll see some real whingeing I'm sure!

Thank you for asking. i got a distinction for my first terms short fiction module, I found out at my tutorial last night On Saturday I am having a masterclass with Maureen Duffy and I am very excited about next terms poetry module with Michael Donnaghey. I have made some great pals and worked alongside some wonderful writers. Its hard work but I am sticking with it. Oh and its Birkbeck and not Berk-beck. Oh silly me, it was a play on words George. what a funny man you are. A bit like Jimmy Tarbuck if I may be so bold. Anyway, once again thank you for asking and you be sure to keep up that anger management course that you are on at Thurrock Tech. Call me Ralph x

Understand perfectly Missi their is one of the female kind who does that all!!! the time and as I see its very cleverly done, I avoid if possiable posting as I feel I would just get gobbled up and spat out as I haven't got your way with words so unlike you I tend to let well alone but it doen't stop me watching and fuming and love it when occasionally unwittingly someone else does the job for me...
