What a game!

King Kev, heart on his sleeve, pulled off something truly amazing. It trancended sport and became the true spirit of life itself.

A great moment!

Has your cockeral gone limp again Colin? It was mad and brilliant. One of the greatest games I have ever seen. Tony will be livid. Sabelle will be pissing herself. I am eating toast. I love it, really love it. Tony Gubba

What Leyton Orient! North East London's finest. Or was it Barnet....? Shame about Bobby Stokoe. One of the greatest raincoats in the history of the game. Gezza

chelski is like getting someone else to write a story on your behalf then basking in the glory when it comes fourth in the village hall writing comp.

I was in the pub with some Tottenham fans. At half time I was reminding them of the 5-3 against Man United last year (or whenever). Very funny. Classic Keegan performance. Classic Spurs performance.

as a true Mancunian I support Liverpool but loved every second of last night's game. Keegan's right they will be talking about this for years and years.. (In the spurs defence classes!) credit to City though and what grit. You know it was Keegan's doping because the players all quoted his words after the match. "Let's go home with a little pride" it's all it takes sometimes

..DOING, it was Keegan's doing, nothing at all to do with 10 lines of charlie and odd coloured sugar in the half time cuppa!

I am still in deep gloom and despondency. I sat and watched it all unfold with my mouth agape. Dire, dire, dire. We just thought we had it won and stopped trying - and then couldn't shift up a gear again. I am gutted.

Any Fulham supporters down there in London Village? You still managed to beat us, even though that jug-eared prodigal-son-cum-pariah got a late equaliser. Anyone can beat us at the moment. Except Liverpool.

It is hard work being a Spurs fan, especially after seeing that shower last night. We did it against Man Utd a couple of seasons ago. Must be a madchester thing. No bottle whatsoever. Gardner doing some kind of ballet dancer turn to get out of the way of the ball for the deflected goal kinda summed it up for me. A complete girl. Postiga. Who? What? Why? He should be selling hot dogs outside the ground, with Doherty. He's definitely in line to take the crown from Berti for being the worst ever Spurs player - closely followed by Justin Edinburgh and Paul Stewart, not forgetting the incredible Mitchell Thomas. We would've gone out against Man Utd anyway. Man City deserve the derby. [%sig%]

So why didn't we give Postiga to West Ham and keep Zamora - I've seen a lot of him over the past few years and he is class. Postiga doesn't seem to offer anything. But worse than Rebrov? He must be the worst of our many bad signings.

Oh god, i think the board at spurs work by the burroughs dictum of "exterminate all rational thought". I see Zamora as the new chris armstrong....without the pot smoking. Should we have kept "thats zamora", probably, as we never gave the lad a chance. If we swapped Postiga for Defoe, we may have paid less as the value of Postiga is higher, but I can't see West Ham taking Postiga in the first place because A) He lacks pace; B) He can't head the ball; C) He lacks strength. All prerequisites for being a decent striker in the first division. West Ham wouldn't have him. Rebrov, bless - the CB radio enthusiast. In the paper the other day he claimed spurs still owned him. Spurs have denied this. I don't know, I thought he was a good player. I reckon Hoddle's man management skills destroyed him as a player. Anyway, someone in the office has made another jibe about the result and I'm going to strangle him. [%sig%]

Just heard on Radio 5 Live that a Glaswegian guy placed a £100 halftime bet on City to win, knowing they were three goals adrift and down to 10 men. He netted £25,000!

It's all just too painful. Now I see in the Evening Standard that the players refused to apologise afterwards and just walked off as if nothing had happened. We desperately need a midfield general - a Viera or a Roy Keane would be good but in the circumstances Nicky Butt would be ideal. We had a perfectly adequate bunch of strikers in Kanoute, Keane and Zamora with Postiga as a costly mistake - what we need is a holding player in the middle who will drive the team forwards. Anyone for despair?

Belladona that was Ralph who suggested that you might have hydrated your underwear not me. As for Tuffty's quip about Chelski i nealry passed out trying to decipher it.......but i 'm comforted by the fact he a six fingered bumpkin from Cambridgeshire or where ever who supports Spurs. TC Bobby Sombrero is a pile of poo, good riddance.
