ABCtales offers affordable computers!
hi folks,
check out the front page for some exciting news!
In partnership with Recycle-IT!, ABCtales can now offer all of our UK users (and their friends, families, colleagues and neighbours!) the opportunity to purchase low cost, reconditioned computers.
Have a look here for some more details:
We're really excited about this, because it's a deal where absolutely everyone is a winner. You get cheap computers, people get employment and training opportunities and the world doesn't fill up with the computers that big business doesn't want anymore.

Any hints as to the original manufacturers or is it luck of the draw?
Don't show this to Liana or she'll blow her winter fuel allowance on one.

I shant you know. I know a man (who isnt divorced from me yet) that owns a PC supply shop and understands that to give me goods at cost price is beneficial to his health. This looks like a good deal though... and what a great idea. Good for abctales.
Jasper - you really are mad.
Re-Cycle IT only employ the very long term unemployed. They give them a purpose in life and have succeeded in changing many peoples' lives.
ABCtales gives everyone the opportunity to tell their story. Through Talecatching we operate an as yet fledgling programme to provide the means for the socially excluded to re-engage with the world. Through this deal with ReCycle IT we are able to offer to all our members the chance to own their own computer at considerably less than they would have to pay in a shop.
Social good? I think so.
Good luck with it Tony.
If I hear of anyone looking for a laptop I'll point them in your direction.
Do they come with a guarantee?
It's a six months back to base guarantee.

(E, KANT) I'd rather be challenged and unaware, than be defined by others of privilege and affluence who are arrogant towards and of my present social status?
Happiness: Eggs that don't want to become chickens when the fox population is at critical mass?
I am long termed Unemployed btw! So how about placing their work with everyone else's here at Abctales, thus allowing them to be heard and helped without already definitions?
Sincerely the egalitarian
PS: We have the same program here...but not the Site to operate it like this?
Jasper rubs his hands together and thinks of all the fat cats in OZ he can torture and ear bash to put up funds to help Abctales reputation grow here in OZ...seriously?
