I've just self published my first ebook

I've just self published my first ebook. I used lulu.com. It's a great site that's definately worth checking out for anyone who wants to self publish. To self publish an ebook costs nothing and the site has ebook covers you can use for free too.
Feel free to check out my ebook "Italian for tourists" at my onsite storefront: http://www.lulu.com/jolinsdell. Also if anyone wants to rate it/ review it feel free.
Has anyone else self published with lulu.com?

Hi Jo I will take a look at your book. The link doesn't seem to be working right now. If self-publishing an eBook, with a little bit of technical knowledge you can do this yourself. As has been pointed out on this forum, people are loathe to pay for an eBook. If you pay for something you want it in quality print. I don't know about you but the primary purpose of putting together an eBook (this took me around 4 hours including the cover which I designed myself from a photo I took) was to have my recent poems in one tidy place - having the advantage over just directing people to my poetry on a website because - A pdf can be emailed as an attatchment or dowloaded from site - The pages can be turned with the arrows at the bottom of Acrobat Reader saving that tedious navigating around poetry on a website. - you can group poetry into a collection to make a tidy unit with underlying threads, themes or other things that make them belong together. It is a great way of sharing work with friends. I can't see any other real long-term uses for this format in my own case anyway. jude "Cacoethes scribendi" http://www.judesworld.net jude "Cacoethes scribendi" http://www.judesworld.net
