Yes it is in the wrong place, Silver, but we all forgive you! Welcome to the site Tristan, hope you're enjoying it. It's good to get another prose writer on ABCTales - far too many poets round here for my liking (light blue touch paper, etc, etc - only joking!). Now on the subject of pedantry - this might be an old-fashioned view but would the story have been better done in 3rd person narration - considering the way it ends up? (I'M TRYING NOT TO GIVE AWAY THE ENDING!!)
