A circle of reading ink - spartacad

Well this is a good read, eh? It builds momentum, has a quietness about it, and yet still makes you read to the end. Some beautiful images, and wit. It's good, I say.

I'm not quite sure I get it on first reading; I'll try again when my brain is working better, but I love the way Spartarcad writes, such an interesting and unusual style.
I've never seen a personality so successfully translated into words as Sparts' is - consistently gentle prose. I'm not a huge fan of his poetry (as he knows) but his prose is something else entirely. Mind you, the pig killing one was brilliant, the father/farmer character portrayed as having a 'stout black chimneyed walk' was particularly excellent.
