Mo was one of the very first writers on this site - and her husband, Jon Norton, is still the Chair of the ABCtales Foundation charity.

She wrote on Whisky in order to help us to publicise the site at the very outset:

Saturday, in accordance with his wishes, Hunter S. Thompson's ashes blasted into the sky from a specially built canon and exploded in a display of fireworks over the Rockies. Evidently, Johnny Depp foot the bill for the canonization and party, some $2 million. There was no mention in the news reports of their playing the Byrd's version of Mr. Tamborine man, which had been part of his wish as recorded in a late 70s documentary. Other than that, it all went as he would have wanted.
