Ineos, Billionaire bosses and the ideomouth effect.

Nobody believed me when I said I’d a hole in my denim pocket and lost £10 million last week. It’s quite a nice number. It’s not eleven million which sounds pretentious or nine million which has that mingy, could do better, feel about it. Ten million is spot on. Billionaires are like Nazis always wanting to bring order out of chaos. But they are never unreasonable about it. It’s all about EFFICIENCY.  I’ve used capitals to show it’s a big word. Nod if you believe in efficiency. I want efficiency you want efficiency. Don’t think about efficiency for a minute and we’ll understand better that it’s nothing personal. Work makes you free. People that get sick cost money. People that get too old to work cost money. And workers that are paid too much are a tax on PROFIT. That’s another big word and is a synonym for efficiency, but only when a billionaire says it is. Billionaire’s are always efficient and highly moral. Good money will never follow bad. We should believe them. They always hire the guy that wears the white hat, shooting up the bad guys like union leaders, and are always willing to give the workers a better deal than they deserve, but only if they’re efficient. Thank-you Mr Billionaire for your benevolence. Where’s a Jimmy Reid when you need him?

£10 million lost. Pathetic. Vince Cable undervalued the Post Office by £7 billion last week, according to the professionals he got in to do an estimate.  Imagine how many pairs of holy-pocketed-trousers you'd need to compete with Vince.

Although I agree with much of what you say, I really don't agree with the comparison of billionaires and "Nazis." I used to hear this alot in the elite academic circles also, people comparing other academics to "Nazis." etc. The word "Nazi" should not be used so lightly. Nazis were really about "efficiency" but in a very specific way. They recycled Jewish flesh to make lampskins. They vivisected Jews to learn more about medicine and to see if Jews were different from Aryans. Don't think that they wouldn't have done this to other races. Nazis had an evil numinocity... it's like they really thought of themselves as different from the human race, almost an alien race looking on the human race as the Other just as Japanese did during that same time. Unique, differentiated races can fall into this evil trap of thinking that their actions cannot be judged when they are just being plainly psychotic. As I have stated before, the Holocaust is a unique historical event, and as such, it cannot be compared with other events, and I believe unique historical events in time which is continuously present and does not cause itself (the past does not cause the present and the present does not cause the future) continuously recur all the time (Christ's Crucifixion). Celticman, I am so glad that you are posting this discussion pieces. You bring alot of depth and debate to this site. You know what, you've seen "Bladerunner." The androids with 4 years to live... They are like the elite Nazis in a semi-romanticized way. I've met some Teutonic elite Germans in my life. They're not a bad people. Some are quite elegant. Some Nazis found refuge in Buddhism. Nazism, I believe, started out as a movement to exterminate the "elite Jews"  in (Physics, Banking, arts, etc.). It was transformed by Hitler and the other psychotic leaders of Germany into a movement against all Jews. Some of the "elite" Jews caught wind of it and moved to America or other places. The Nazis blamed Freemasons also, but wanted to create a "New World Order" out of the Social Democratic Party. The Nazis basically took all the tools of other existing social and political structure until it needed nothing from the Other, including the occult and was hell-bent on the destruction of the rest of the world.
