POETRY MONTHLY

Poetry Monthly – November

Hello all,

I hope all’s good where you are!  Last month’s Poetry Monthly focus, as usual, produced some great writing and here are three to go back to:

This month’s focus is form, not theme.  So, try a haiku (3 lines, 5/7/5 syllables, non-rhyming), or a tanka (5 lines, 5/7/5/7/7, non-rhyming).  Maybe try a series of these?  There are lots of other sub-rules for and sub-sets of both these forms, so do be creative in what you put together.

Have fun writing and don’t forget to post on ABCtales.  See you next month,

Noo smiley
