Our Story and Poem of the Month for June has very kindly been chosen by Drew Gummerson:

 

 

I always enjoy it when it’s my turn to do Picks of the Month. Looking back over 30 days worth of work you can really see the strength and quality of posts that appear on this site. 

 

Story of the Month. 

 

A special shout out first to soulfire77. So many good stories this month, consistently of a high quality.

But my Story of the Month is the opening chapter of airyfairy’s Somewhere. The set up is so quick, so well done, I was right there. Loved it.

Poem of the Month. 

 

There doesn’t seem to be as much poetry on the site recently. Come on poets! But there were many fine ones still. 

 

HarryC’s Blue was so simple, so nostalgic, but so affecting.
