Story and Poem of the Week and Inspiration Point

Firstly I'd like to wish a warm welcome to our new members (we've had a small flurry) and to thank you for joining us. I hope you enjoy your time here.

What a week it's been for ABCTales! We've had so many wonderful poems and stories posted - thank you so much for all of them and for the time you've all taken to leave comments for others' work. It makes such a difference to our writers and poets to know their contributions are appreciated. 

It's been exceptionally difficult to choose our Story of the Week. Honourable mentions must go to Turlough for his work in progress of which three parts have already been posted, also Terrence Oblong's very funny series and Caldwell's Theodore Gericault 'The Raft of the Medusa':
