Story and Poem of the Week, with Inspiration Point, posted by di-hard
Thank You so much to everyone for all the wonderful writing this week. I have particularly enjoyed the stories written for and about children/teens, including :
Marandina's engossing tale set in England's West country unfolds in two new chapters. If you love Alan Garner and Susan Cooper you should read this : https://www.abctales.com/story/marandina/prophesy-immortal-witch-10
Soulfire has posted many great stories, but Less Miserables has been my favourite so far. This part, about Nova's determination leading to success is an empowering, uplifting read : https://www.abctales.com/story/soulfire77/less-miserables-learn-flip-2
A heart warming Vampire story seems a strange combinarion but Bucky pulls it off; this first part is fabulous and will leave you wanting more :

All of these should be Story of the Week, and in an alternative Universe they surely are. But here and now it is HarryC's beautiful account of a holiday in Cornwall. The author conjures up with every sentence memories so clear and bright this reader is instantly transported :

Poem of the Week is Turlough's Romantic depiction of unrequited love :

I hope your weather is warming and you are enjoying the growing days. Have a lovely weekend!
