A Fine Finish

Well, Rio came third. Thats two runs and two thirds. Very pleased as he was up against strong competition and ran on well. He needs a longer trip as he looks an out and out stayer. So will run him over a longer distance next time. Great day!

Thanks Pia and Verdana. He showed great promise and finished really well in what was very heavy ground. the jockey said he jumped well, in fact too well, as he went too high and lost ground over each hurdle. he should come out again for a run in March.
