Leggings - Weird talk in M & S
Before work yesterday I went into M & S clad simply in a skirt and T-shirt, plus a heavy blue (dustbin) Sainsbury's coat which molds itself into a back brace which keeps the rain off in the playground. It looks as if I have absolutely no fashion sense when it comes to the coat I admit. It is very comfortable though! In case you're wondering I paid for it... in the sales...
Anyway a tall (perhaps 6 foot bloke) was rummaging around near to the lift doors talking to his staff – or so it appeared when he saw me and my coat... He obviously had indigestion over the coat... He began to ramble on... about money and goods going to a Heather (which one I do not know & there must be millions) and I should have been given it by now, only of course that never happened...
I wondered if he thought I was blackmailing the shop. I'm not. I've not asked for that, nor have I been offered that. In any case I should have been spoken too. He then - still rumbling his discontent – jumped into the lift and left the scene behind him.
Are they giving away free goodies to people unknown behind this stranger person named Heather? I hardly dare to ask... is the firm being blackmailed? Or is this lift leaver quite mad?
Its quite put me off buying a nice dress I am interested in. The only trouble is that it comes in two varieties, one flowered, the other a kind of denim material... I'm not sure yet which to have.... For the summer in a comfy two sizes larger than I take.... nice and loose... not back bracing stuff... Debenhams have this lovely quiz stuff... I had a coffee with soya milk there yesterday because I needed a sit down. I mention this because I was refused soya in the M & S cafe downstairs... and was told the upstairs one wouldn't oblige me either! What a come down!
