Look To Jesus
Heb 12:2 Looking away from all that will distract us
and focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the
Author and perfection of faith.
(The first incentive for our belief and the
one who brings our faith to maturity)
John 16:6 I have told you these things, so that in me
You may have (perfect) peace.
In the world, you have tribulation and distress
and suffering, but courageous (be confident, be
Undaunted, be filled with joy.)
I have overcome the world.
(My conquest is accomplished, my
victory abiding.
Learning to trust in this test of faith, like a child beginning
To walk, develop a faith skill. Ah! What a sight to see.
To not only see but to experience through a father’s eyes.
To fall only to rise again in a father’s arms with grace before your sight with tear-stained eyes, scarred knees.
Wobbling light; for your glory, Father, and your child’s good for all the world to see.
Although we must decrease, so that the Father’s spirit will
Increase none of us and more of you.
Fewer of us and all of you.
Having our share of missteps, falling, and looking around for your gracious hands.
Our source of comfort and security.
Influences how to handle falls.
We fall, but we get back up.
We grow in grace when we look up and see.
You’re after our hearts every step of the way.
Strength of our life.
Father, you are always there with compassion
a true fatherly love, we shall never think twice, as
You weave a stern discipline as an act of protection
Here in your blood-nail -scarred hands, and you want
Let us go.
It’s enough to know that your love is so real that when
We walk by faith, it’s leading us alone the way on the
waters, through the fire, on the mountaintop, down
Deep in the valley, lows on such a tightrope.
This balance of life.
You have ordered these steps and commanded that it is finished. What more is left? But follow in your father’s footsteps.
