Witchcraft & Wizards

Belief systems and the market and life in general. I think, I want v. I feel, I need. The paradox of mathematical perfection against the chaos of belief and feeling. I was raised Roman Catholic and so had an early and somewhat rigid version of beliefs gotten at second hand. I never really took to it myself and if pressed on the issue today I’ll admit to dabbling in Buddhist teachings and leave it at that.

I work in an electrical sort of occupation. Have for many years, and taken some comfort in the absoluteness of the endeavor. Wires, circuits, components, program commands are all utterly infallible! If you connect a piece of copper wire to a working battery and lamp, then complete the return circuit, current will flow. I don’t have to believe it, I know it. Knowing things is nice, it gives a feeling of power and control.  

Now in order to participate in this little experiment I have to let go of my knowingness and power and just let the belief take over! You know, breathe in, breathe out, repeat as need indicates. And we’re back to Buddhism.. But of course I can’t really let go can I? No, I cleverly devised a rigid mechanical device to contain the disconcerting chaos and produce an unambiguous result. Now.. innnn… pfuuu, and ouuuuuut… pfawww… Innnn…

Flat is the closest description that pops into mind of the past week. Slight but welcome gain over the prior week and little movement in the rankings. 

WHEN moved up from the bottom and I will admit, I’m pulling for the little guy here. I see big things in store. Give it a couple months and see if this doesn’t reach a whole penny a share. You heard it here first! My little instigator OZSC bounced around this week but ended up right where they were in the 17 spot. This is the one I have, what I’ll call an actual belief in. A 32% Friday gain pushed SMME up for 4 spots for this weeks big gain, Congratulations, Should I send trophies? Hmm.. Maybe not every week, perhaps at the end of the year.
