ABCtales London Reading - Call For Readers

Following on from the roaring success in Nottingham (thanks, VeraClark) the next ABCtales Reading Event has been organised.  Here are the details:

Date:   Wednesday 11th November, 2015

Venue:   The Wheatsheaf

Address:   25, Rathbone Place, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 1JB

Time:   18:30 for a 19:00 start

Nearest tube:   Tottenham Court Road

Link to the venue:   The Wheatsheaf, 25 Rathbone Place, Fitzrovia, London ...

The Wheatsheaf is a wonderfully atmospheric place with a long history of literary connections stretching back to hosting the luminaries of the Bloomsbury group and beyond.  These are always fantastic nights where readers can be confident of a warm and supportive audience.  If you'd like to read just tap a note of interest here or let me know at peter@abctales.com

We especially like to see and hear 'first-timers'.

Reading slots will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.  I'd like to start to compile the reader list so please don't leave it to the last minute.

Thanks everyone.  Here's to seeing lots of people in London yeslaugh

Peter.

This event is now showing on WriteOutLoud.  The listing can be viewed via this link:

Comments

Not sure if any places left and I'm pretty nervous as not done it before, but would put my name down if a slot going.

You just got yourself a slot harveyjoseph.

Nice one. Cheers.

Biggus has asked me if he can do an impression of Jimmy Krankie and new writer Solomon Magus wants to read from  his informed and non-specialist A Popular History of Grouting

Ha!  And what about yourself BJD, will you be wresting yourself from toiling at the inky typeface to be there?  I do hope so cheeky

I will definitely be there, so nice to sit in the audience and do some drinking for a change rather than all that knee trembling in the green room. I owe you  a pint of Old Badger

Nice one, I'll hold you to it too, lol.

I know I'm a little late, but is there a reserve list for readers I could go on? I'd like to give reading another go.

Consider yourself listed, Kev yes

Thanks!
