Intolerable Cruelty
Intolerable Cruelty - another class act from the Coen Brothers, although they collaborated this time with some other writers and producers.
They deserve to have a massive hit after all the ace films they've produced. This one has a really good cameo from Billy Bob Thornton, but the main thing going for it is the chemistry between George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones. When did they both get this good?
My favourite of theirs still remains "O Brother..." but that was in a different league altogether. This is good fun, though judging from the handful of cinema-goers I don't think it will last at the UCI for more than another week at best.
Will be up for Golden Globes & Oscars though - acting ones, and maybe best original screenplay. Has anyone else seen it?
