Google toolbar...
I just downloaded it (takes about a minute), and I love it! Okay, I may be the last person in the world to catch on to this, but it really is fabby. It means I don't have to feel the need to have google as my home page, and no need to specifically visit the site ever again - and it blocks popups too!
Do you have one Missi? The Internet Explorer of every fake know-it-all should have one!

Oh I think I know what you mean. It sends anonymous info if you want advanced features, but they don't sell any info, and other sites/users can't either. If you're unsure, I'd go for the basic version.
Unless, of course, I've completely misunderstood what you said!

I have something similar from Ask Jeeves. The googlebar is more recent and has more features, though I haven't installed it.
The thing about popup controllers is that sometimes they stop legitimate stuff (new software install, some downloads, etc), so beware that you might have to turn off the anti-popup function sometimes.
