Desks
Don't you think the state of people's desks say a lot about them? What have you got on yours? Fluffy toys, photos of nearest and dearest? Three day old coffee cups and a couple of crusts?
Oh thats ok andrea - those threads took eons to load anyway, what with people sticking 300mb piccies up...
as the pic isnt available to view anymore, i shall describe it... One PC, one scanner, one printer. A neat stack of A4 paper and a webcam. A shelf by the window has a bottle of evian, and all my software discs stacked alphabetically on it and thats all i can see..
Such a shame it cant be seen anymore.. its SUCH an inspiration...
Ahem! Will email pic of the above to the highest bidder

blimey Liana....
Don't like to be a tattle-tale but Liana had a can of castlemaine xxxx on her desk in the UKa piccy, which i think is why Andrea deleted it.
I think she tried to pretend it was lighter fluid or some other kind of lame excuse.
At least I dont have mouldy mugs Elfpig.
Flash - I wouldnt drink aussie lager if i was paid to.
Two pleading pot plants = parental explanation a crude experiment into the deprivation of imperative elements
A sticky sweet left over from Christmas = dupe the eco friendly expulsion of a strawberry cream
A verdant stuffed Nessie = No comment
Several well fingered dictionaries = pending landfill
A decorative machete = residue of self defence classes
Pencils = who'd a thought
The petrified limbs of Mother Nature's children sliced, bleached, and ready for the ink dappled gibberish of someone who should know better
A writers and artists year book = delusion is a poets best friend

I reckon L's desk is really draped in blokes.
More likely to be draped in crackers...
ooh err.... when's the next train to Skeggie ?
draped in blokie corpses ...
there's a photo of my desk over on UKA forum. Its shameful...
Link?
Home desk: beer can, books (both on desk and in bokcase above desk), phone , pc (on low shelf) with amp and speakers, desk tidy, pens , notepad, dissection kit, CDs
Work desk: phone, pc etc, box of Cup-a soup, mug (clean), papers (reasonably tidy)
Sadly (or perhaps luckily) it doesnt seem to be there anymore...
...the dissection kit gives it away really doesn't it!
I'm either a scientist or a weirdo
Which jude?
Despite what many others would say I am a scientist rather than a weirdo
What do you all think my desk is like?
(Rachel shhhhhhhhhhhhh)

Pamela Anderson Calender
A packet of fruit pastilles
PC (with pentium III)
20 assorted sizes of envelopes
£2.45 in 5 ps and copper

Can't she be both?
Sorry L, had to clear out a lot of pics from forums as our CPU usage was going through the roof. Sadly, your desk seems to have been eliminated.
Er...piles of papers yet to be stuffed into appropriate box, overflowing ashtray, lighter, tobacco, photo of sprog, a ceramic fairy (given to me by Pi, bless 'er), pens, scissors, an old watch and 3 euros.
Pinned above my pc, however, is my prize possession - I gaze at it periodically, for inspiration. Yes, it's Mr January, aka The Divine Henstoat...starkers, save for an extended sword...
Actually mark, I don't think iI've ever seen the actual desk. Does that give anyone a clue???
I fear that this thread was motivated by the state of my desk. It's commonly known as the heap - but I sort of know what's on it, under it and around it.
at home, i have a large desk, it's actually a dining table (can sit 6 comfortably) and of course, with all that space, i have filled it with junk, it's got my flat screen, scanner (which i hardly ever use) webcam, microphone (don't know why i bought that) a coster for tea/coffee beer, loads of utility bills in a pile (all paid) a little folder for putting bills in (i'll do it tomorrow) usually there's an ash tray, and the odd empty beer can, and piles of paper, loads of books too....underneath is tidier, there's a big box with loads of stuff in it, a printer, (it's a really noisy one, i really need to update) an old pair of football boots (i've retired) and an odd shoe, can't find the other one...
My desk is actually quite tidy at the moment after mamoth clear out last weekend. I have:
Pot of stolen pens
In tray with lot of rubbish in
Out tray with more rubbish in
Britta waterfilter
Inspiration candle (faulty)
Photo of my dad scowling (better than inspiration candle)
Obscene spermy mousemat
