Still Can't Log into ABC

Hi,

When I follow the new instructions for logging in,

Lost PasswordEnter your username below, click Send me my password, and your password will be mailed to you if you gave a valid email address when you registered. If this will not work for you (for example, if you forgot your member name or didn't enter your email address) send an email to markbrown@abctales.com.

Well, seems like some of the user stuff is working now. I received my password...Thanks Mark!!!! In my business, we don't call them "software upgrades" any longer. everything is now called a "software enhancement" So, how are those enhancements coming along? *it's not a bug, it's a feature!*

I may as well weight for the re indexing to be completed, cant see that it makes much of a difference as i haven't been able to log on before. Hopefully when the new sight is up and all is ok, this problem will be resolved. I'll be patient in the mean time.

I logged in under a newly created username - but none of the buttons do anything from my home page, but yes, it's posh...like the olive greeny bits.

'Try going to 'log-in' and using the form to get your password. remember to put your username in all lowercase, no capitals. Good luck.' This the message I received. Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to access the site at all. Also I tried this before and got nowhere. So what's the next step?

Had same thing. Although, oddy, I managed to login using Andrea (uppercase 'A'), but was told I had nothing in set. Couldn't login at all as andrea where (if you check members) my stuff actually IS. Either way, Andrea is told, repeatedly, that she has 'insufficient privileges' to access. Which is a bit of a cheek, considering *I* wrote the stuff! Even odder, I have only ONE account (but which one??) as I could never see the sense in having multiple usernames and would never have registered twice. No answer from Mark, despite several emails...

Can't log in either, and have requested new password. Still not forthcoming, so this is not exactly an automated process yet! As I remarked a few hours ago on my silly cherry thread, I can't SEE any indication that a work has been cherried, even from the list of those given AS cherried?? Found me and my one poem, but can't tell if it still has its cherry, given these new circumstances. Am I missing something?

Arg! It is a scary thought having to re edit every single thing I've posted on here! Is that really going to be the case??? As Rokkit says, what will happen to last 100? OKAY! I'm happy, happy! I've edited. My poem, when viewed, appears exactly the way I want it to look on the page - and in bold type to the right of screen it says that my story is an editor's pick! For those who care, I logged in then followed John's directions by: 1. clicking on 'my preferences' from menu at the top 2. changing default editor from Kupu to None 3. clicking on my folder from menu 4. clicking on edit after opening article 5. selecting html text (since I know how to use it) 6. editing poem accordingly Then I logged out and put my user name in 'browse members' to find out how it looked to other readers. Try it!

Well i tryed to log on but got no ware. I thought perhaps I've forgotten my log on name as well as the password that didn't work? So, i try edto send an E-Mail to Mark.. And guess what.. My e-mailer is reporting a bloody error.. Its a conspiracy, I'm now sure of it! *Folds arm's in a huff*
