Yes only couldn't click on link. All of my socks are lonely as none, and that probably isn't an exaggeration, have partners. Ask Jasper who seems to have conveniently disappeared. If you're asking am I lonely then the answer is both yes and no.

On a serious note re UKA: I am so sad that Andrea and Richard will no longer be able to host their wonderful site together. They were so well suited. She gave orders he took 'em. There may be many who may think that they may have had a fall out. No tis not possible, after all what would the site be without it's matriarch at the helm. I do hope that at least the young writers side gets reinstated, many a brilliant writer on there. To conclude as you all know I ain't a bitter lady.....but YIPPEE.......long time coming. OOps sorry had a slight breakdown there, withdraw last sentence. ;0

Hi....Couldn't resist this chirpy little thread. Jasper I would watch what you say about robbing and not paying bills, if I were you. That is slander me ansum. Uka is a very good site, imo. and has a great community of good writers and learners like me. Just got to this site and the verdict is still out, but from what I have been reading on the threads there seems to be a lot of bitching going on! Well you will never meet a bigger bitch than me when roused. So should be interesting. I see Rita is still her charming sweet self, and jasper your bedside manner, is just delightful! Well I doubt UKA is finished. I'd be kinda disappointed if it is, there are some nice people on there. I know I give it a hard time now and then but I have some good memories too. If it IS gone though, I'll put in a bid for the sandbox.

Hi Mississippi & all Thanks for that message (above). UKA hasn't gone anywhere, we've just had some problems with the engine that's used to run it. It seems that it can't cope any more (I know how it feels!). UKA will be back and I would love for the two sites (UKA & ABC) to get back on track and become the friendly and complimentary neighbours we were when we started. I know that UKA didn't set out to become the enemy that we seemed to have become to some members of abc and I think the reason for this has been lost in the passage of time. What ever it was, it certainly wasn't intentional (and I speak for both Andrea and myself). Anyway, I don't want this post to start a riot again. I just posted it because of your comment above missi. Perhaps,....... well, you know the rest. AJ, we've spoken a few times on MSN (admittedly not recently) and I thought we got on ok. I feel a bit sad that you have taken such a delight in seeing UKA suffer like this. I know you have issues with Andrea, but UKA is there to offer writers an avenue for their work just like abc. Of course the two sites are run in different ways but does that make UKA a poor site? anyway.
