Techie help - music...

OK, so, I am a relative beginner here -

How do I send a music file that I have in my Windows Media Player library to someone else?

I have exchanged lots of music files before with people, but the only ones that appear as seperate files in my documents/my music are the ones I've received from other people (or some that I've downloaded from cds), thus when I write an email I can attach these files by browsing for them...

Now I want to send someone a file that I've downloaded through music manager into my Windows Media Player Library...but is this possible??

Any advice in step by step format please.

Though you may have d/l a track into Media Player Library the file is on your HD somewhere. All you need to do is locate it and then attach it to an email. I've sent you a file myself using this method, if it arrives ok I'll mail the details.

Okay, I don't use Media Player or Music Manager but after a quick look I think all you need to do is. Locate the file you want under Media Player Library Right click on it and select properties At the bottom of the "File" tab there should be a "Location" field This is where the actual file is on your computer (if it starts with "http://" it's not even on your computer but on the internet)
