Ha ha ha ha....tomorrow the lying dope hag bites the bullet......hopefully wearing a blindfold while strapped to post in Bali * fingers crossed*

Did you know John Howard has offered to release asylum seekers from detention here in Australia in an attempt to barter for her freedom!

*NO DEAL*...Do the crime bitch - which you did - then pay the bill!

And spare us all you lies and the B/S media...arrrhhhggghh!

Do you ladies know how many people have been killed recycling Aluminium and glass? We had a smelter go boommmmmm.....and flatten buildings for 2 blocks (4 dead many injured) after from just one tin can was misplaced in the mix! They create an air pocket in the smelter which erupts like plutonium under pressure! I've head someone made a smelter explode with nothing more than 20 cent piece.....might be bs, but it's volitile stuff! Ban recycling...it ain't worth the risk of just one life! Edible packaging...cool!

Well, of course people recycle, Liana, of course they do. I am almost obsessive about recycling, even the aluminium pans that takeaway curries come in. South Cambridgeshire, in fact, has one of the highest rates of recycling in England...but that's still only 23% of the population of one small district in one small county. But, worldwide, the amount of stuff that goes to the tip is appalling. I have a particular bugaboo with new cars...you see so many old ones rusting away in scrapyards. Why can't they recycle cars, instead of building new ones? That's all I meant. Most of the people, most of the time, can't be bothered. I guess we just have to start small... And Jaspie, I'm already paranoid enough about eating from aluminium pans, cans, and stewpots. Alzheimers, anyone? (AND plastics, AND anything petroleum-related, AND so on...)
archergirl
Anonymous's picture
What would you suggest, then, Jaspie, if we can't even recycle now?

Why do we need packages anyway...fresh is best! I like the idea of all the little shops specialising, rather than quantifying! Supermarket chains are to blame.....ban em! And why don't whole suburbs have just one kitchen instead of a zillion independant ones....each could pay a few to cook and shop for the many...why not...you'd save a fortune on food and other outgoing cost! Be lovely wouldn't it.....no more cooking, no more mad old cow smashing farking shopping trolleys into your ankles...old bags! Don't eat from aluminium pots.....no no no...I refuse to even work in kitchens that have them or pans with phenolic handles! Picky little shit, ain't I just? GOOD
archergirl
Anonymous's picture
Well, trends seem to be going back in that direction; in the States there are some 'experimental' neighbourhoods with common eating areas (where you can eat by choice; if not, you still have your own kitchen) and village centre shops. Supermarkets, alas, are here to stay. Convenience is the keyword nowdays, rather than ethics. Guilty, yer Honour!

And here I was thinking you stood for freedom of choice, AG? I've tried and tried to get people over here to put Community above senseless profits, but they're all too busy to organise it.....don't figure does it? Christ, making money is easy....the monkeys will buy anything that says, "It'll make you life far more convienient"....but what they don't say is whose?

I do my level best, but perfect I'm not... unfortunately the way we have set up our lives in this society, time and consideration are not spent the ways they should be, on slowing down and considering the ramifications of our actions!

Haven't you heard of the Barlow and Chambers execution years ago? They were two Australian males convicted and shot for drug (Smack_Hammer) smuggling over there! But then there are many sick puppies here in OZ. Like when the Tsunami struck, the Australian Fedral Police cancelled all know convicted peadophiles passports.....true story....the bastards only go over there tamper with their children! The ones there already however, had a field day on little boys and girls searching for their dead parents or families...fact! OH, and I admire the Bali Bombers too btw.....they have ever right to kill innocent Aussie's because Australians do the same and far-far worse to them...an eye for an eye.....when in Rome blah blah.....respect the culture! East Timor is another prime example of what this countries government and its people do to it neighbours....RAPE the slaves for pleasure and feed em crumbs, and steal their Oil, Natural Gas, or Gold without them realising it! Farking John Howard is a scum bag!

There is no secrecy here... lots of people know each other in the real world, lots dont, some get on, some don't. C'est la vie.(Liana) Re: Schapelle Corby Author: Martini Tim (---.server.ntli.net) Date: 05-27-05 23:39 Maybe there are those that just want a fight, come what may. But there are people who have left this site (or rarely contribute), because of certain people. Perhaps we should all be cool and let everyone say anything, all the time, but life ain't like that. People have tolerances and they will not go beyond them. Unbelievable as it may seem, there is no conspiracy from the eternally ensconced ABC alumuni, to ban all that disagree. Arseholes have come and gone, but people that continually abuse so many people, do not contribute to the site and have no place here. I believe that I am very tolerant and would always defend the right of someone to speak their mind, but at some point, you have to say "to what end?" Freedom? Liberty? Blah blah? I just want the site to be full of interesting (non-repetitive) people, who have great discussions. Some people work against this and it saddens me. I never heard so much crap in my life. This piece sadly enthused over by the press. The relatives of the dead are so many whinging wankers. Their sons and daughters took the Kings shilling for fuck's sake. What did they expect? A 4yr holiday in the pacific? One tosser even went so far as to insist that the names of all of them should be known to Blair. For those that can't see past their hatred of Blair and next Thursdays doomed conservative campaign, Blair has other things to attend to as well as international affairs. eg. the economy, education, health, pensions, blah blah blah I'll make a prediction here. Within a week of the election Iraq will be so far on the oposition's backburner it will fall off the stove. (later in thread) Re: Blair's revealing gaffe Author: Bob Bank Holiday Roberts (---.cable.ubr01.brom.blueyonder.co.uk) Date: 05-03-05 07:07 When I was shipped off to Gulf War 1 (affectionately known to all concerned as the Sand-in-my-Pants tour, 1991) I certainly didn't think I'd be lounging around choosing silks in the local bazzar. If you sign up for the army you expect to see action...in fact, you positively yearn to see action. That's the attraction of joining up. Blair isn't responsible for that soldier's death...the fanatics who laid the roadside bomb are responsible. Re: Blair's revealing gaffe Author: Smiley (---.l1.c2.dsl.pol.co.uk) Date: 05-03-05 11:54 So Bob, the soldiers who have been killed in Iraq were only there because they love action and their deaths had nothing to do with Blair for sending them there: it was the fault of the bullets and bombs. Come to Iraq the latest venue for extreme sports and you can legally kill people too... ecstacy, eh? There is a slogan on the wall by the South beach "Poor men's blood for rich men's profit." What ever really changes? By the way George I see I've been promoted from pestering women to 'lecher'... if you keep losing arguements at this rate I'll, no doubt, be a baby eater by the end of the week! (later still) Re: Blair's revealing gaffe Author: Bob Bank Holiday Roberts (---.cable.ubr01.brom.blueyonder.co.uk) Date: 05-03-05 16:06 Stephen - "I personally think there are better ways to change a regime than launching a war." Like, er, asking him politely ? Well, as I recall, the gibbon in the White House tried that. Saddam could have avoided bloodshed by taking up the rather generous offer of exile. Today he could be sunning himself in his Joranian villa watching Sky 1 with his two thug kids. Short of sucking his dick I don't really know what else the West could have done. And tell me, how many Iraqis died as a result of UN sanctions ? 100,000 ? 200,000 ? I don't recall any million-marches on London condemning the lack of medicine to Iraqi children. To repeat: the conflict in Iraq began in 1991. Gulf War 2 was part of a historical process that, had it not come to its conclusion in 2003, would have done so three or four years down the line. Bestchum - Yes, I certainly think Hitler and Saddam are comparable. Both polled 99.9 per cent in elections; both were a menace to their neighbours; both were not very nice chappies who practiced genocide; both wore silly moustaches. Smiley - The only constant in human history is that healthy young men and women have been prepared to fight one another in war. And until wars are fought using robots I don't see that changing any time soon. For a soldier, being in a war situation is a frightening and exhilirating experience. It's what you sign up for. It's what you train for. And if you don't want to fight in wars, take my advice and don't join the armed forces. (and even later) Re: Blair's revealing gaffe Author: Smiley (---.l1.c2.dsl.pol.co.uk) Date: 05-03-05 17:58 (and finally) Bank Holiday Bob: I was in the army - 24072316, what was your number? (in later thread) Re: Fifteen thousand up! Author: Bob Roberts (---.cable.ubr01.brom.blueyonder.co.uk) Date: 05-04-05 17:02 Smiley - My number was 666. Chin up!
