Penguin

I liked the voice in this. Wasn't sure about the odd bit of alliteration (frollicking in the froth,) but the non-event at the ending was strangely fitting, and the repetition tricks work well.

Reminds me of PenPen in Evangelion. He's a rockhopper penguin though, and is house-trained.

as someone who loves penguins so much some of friends seriously thought i might have purloined toga, i abosolutely adored this. it captures the penguins personality so well.

i actually went aww at the end - what a delightful quirky piece. Just out of interest Josiedog - did you know a lot about penguins before - or did you decide to write a piece about penguins then have to do you research? I guess i would like to know a little bit more of the background - was it animal liberation or stolen to order? Juliet

Ah, well now, the truth of the matter is, the penguin was stolen to order, part of the bigger picture, and maybe part of a bigger story... I know very little about penguins, but did stumble across the curious poo fact after a cursory look on the internet. I'm glad people liked this piece; I think including a penguin is always a winner.
