Inde publishing

I am lookign at aproject juts now which involves setting myself up as an inde publisher. What kind of basic equipment would i need to run it in my home. I've kind of gathered ill need 2- 3 pcs a realy good printer binder and scanner. Am i missing anythign else ?

What will you be publishing? Will it get you into trouble? Is it worth it? Is this project a non-profit project? If you are going to include other writers then why not appeal to those you know to contribute to set-up and running? Do you have a target market? Apart from the local authorities? Good luck! There is a great independant publishing tool I can recommend - t'internet!
