Self-portrait by luigi pagano

Strange how the sun always seemed to shine brighter and warmer - in retrospect. A glimpse of your life that was a pleasure to read. Thank you for sharing it.

For some reason this poem reminds me of the time that I went to Italy with my parents; we went on a wine tasting trip. I remember standing on a small wooden bridge overlooking the vineyard, pissed out of my skull, thinking about Italian ass. Thanks Tina for reading and commenting. Yes, it's true: we only seem to remember the good times. Luigi x

It's amazing what effect wine can have, Dennet. But didn't you think about Italian ass when you were sober? I know I would have.

Yes, Luigi. It was the year that I discovered how to bum a lilo. There's nothing more mind-teasing than the incomprehensible eagerly avowed - Dennet

That quote refers to priests harping on about God. It comes from Daniel C Dennet's 'Breaking the Spell - Religion as a Natural Phenomena'. There's nothing more mind-teasing than the incomprehensible eagerly avowed - Dennet

Many thanks for the explanation, Dennet. I confess that I am completely ignorant in the matters of religion and that Daniel C Dennet is unknown to me. Is your name purely coincidental or are you related?

Nah, No coincidence. Maybe it looks misleading but I was just noting the author's name after the quote. My name's Yan. There's nothing more mind-teasing than the incomprehensible eagerly avowed - Dennet

doesn't Dennet have two 't's?

I'm not sure...I'll check it out and amend if need be. There's nothing more mind-teasing than the incomprehensible eagerly avowed - Dennet
