Expressexcess is great - haven't been to a dodgy one yet (and isn't Paul Lyalls a lovely man!).
Well, that was grand - good stuff as usual BWMFB! I brought my dad with me for the first time, and he really enjoyed it. All three writers were on great form - and Will Self's gloom cheered me up no end. I am still grinning inside (how odd, and a little rude) about his Jude Law dream.
Yeah, it was really good. Standing room only at a poetry/spoken word gig is always a good thing. Will Self was great - he's got an amazing darkly comic imagination. I liked Roger Robinson too. He's someone who I've heard mentionned a lot but never seen perform before.
