Words are our Sorcery

I am thrilled to announce the launch of my latest book

Wow, what an achievement Karl! Congratulations! Looks diverse and interesting - poetry and prose, cooking and parenting. Can't wait to have a look.

Luke, it's not like any of my other books, which are mostly of the comedy genre. I'm focusing everything on two others at the moment, one of which I should be able to publish in a month's time.

Congratulations, Karl. Well done!

Thank you

I have got to say it is refreshing on this site to find a man who does really big jobs (in excess of 100K) when I think most of us, if we clubbed together, wouldn't earn that in our life time, so why not spill the beans, Karl, how does one get to do really big jobs?

Davey, you must have me mixed up with someone else, mate.

If you're under the impression I earn in excess of £100k, I don't, and I can't imagine where you got that idea from.

If you're under the impression that most ABCtalers won't earn that much in their lifetime, they will. They'd only have to earn about £2000 a year.

The only other thing I can think of is that I work on construction jobs valued at £100m - £300m. That doesn't, of course, mean that I earn £100m. It takes more than one person to build a large development, and even if I could do it all on my own - design it, manage the process & build it - that still doesn't mean that £100m is all profit. Materials and plant have to be bought and paid for as well.

So much as I'd like to put you on the right track to "doing really big jobs" I'm afraid I haven't got the faintest idea what you're talking about. Enlighten me, please.
