True! Someone better form a functioning Leave the EU government soon, or the new wishes of the people will not be carried out. Who is going to be the new Prime Minister? Will it be possible to extricate from the EU? and what on earth is happening to the Labour Party? not to mention new (or old?) constitutional problems concerning Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Could we be seeing the break up of the UK and theEU?

I didn't vote for Scottish Independence in the 2014 Referendum, I voted to stay in the UK but I voted for a UK that was part of Europe and so I may, if the Scots have another Independence referendum, vote to leave the UK. Basically, I do feel that, David Cameron, in allowing the EU referendum stabbed all the people who voted to remain in the United Kingdom in the back. They voted to stay in a different Britain, not in the one that the Leave campaign has left us with. Cameron used to talk about a 'Broken Britain', well he really has broken it now, hasn't he?

We can't entirely blame Cameron. Many people wanted a referendum on this and look who won! A substantial wing of his own party insisted on a referendum, and once promised it had to be eventually delivered. I don't suppose anyone really thought out the possible effects on Scotland or Northern Ireland! I can see what you are saying, and why the Scots may now want independence from the UK (again!) I still think the UK has got to be better together, whatever happens. Break up of the UK is a mess, more of a mess than EU break up, although that could be very messy too!
