COMPETITION

The entries for our latest Freedom! competition haven't exactly been rushing in so now is your chance to get them written. There is a £100 first prize in both poetry and prose sections along with a £25 runner up prize.

You just take the title Freedom! and let it take you where you will. Be as free with your ideas as you like.

All entries cost £5 but you may enter as many times as you want. The closing date is November 5th. Full details here:

NEXT LONDON GET TOGETHER

This will be at our usual venue, The Wheatsheaf on Rathbone Place (nearest tube Tottenham Court Road) on Wednesday November 16th starting at 7 p.m.

Laura Wilkinson will be reading from her new book, BloodMining (which is wonderful) and we'll have a great line-up of ABCtalers to entertain you.

Entrance is £5 (£3 concessions) and it's always a great evening. Put it in your diary - and if you want to read at it then email me at tcook@abctales.com

GREAT NEWS

Long term member Chelsey Flood has signed a book deal with Simon and Schuster here and Arena in Germany for her first novel. She triggered a bidding war between publishers but we all knew just how good she was some time ago. The book should be out in early 2013. Our congratulations go to her.
