Christopher Fowler....now that's writing !!!!
I picked up a Christopher Fowler novel a few years ago, it was a case of "like the cover, I'll give it a go" and it was a wild ride. I've since read just about every novel and short story collection......fabtastic. He's gothic, funny, scary, satanic, sexy.......has anyone else read him ?............. what do you think ?

sorry... bit slow on the uptake here.
Course I've read Fowler. Reading Personal Demons at the minute. Prefer his urban to his gothic... more Disturbia/ Psychoville sort of style. Can appreciate the crossover though.
You don't read Timlin by any chance, do you?

That,s the one... Nick Sharman novels (detective might be pushing it a bit). Played by Clive Owen in the ITV Sharman series.
Timlin's published by no exit press now. Good stuff.
