Weekender Challenge - call for submissions

THE WEEKENDER CHALLENGE short story competition. Can you write a short story in a weekend? The brief for Writelink’s latest competition is fiendishly simple. Write a short story in the space of two days without knowing either the word count or the theme until the competition commences!

This popular on-line contest has already taken place twice before and attracted some high standard entries. The latest round will take place at 9.00 a.m. on the 15th & 16th May, 2004. There will be cash prizes of £50 for the winning entry and £25 for the two runners up. There will also be ebooks and free membership to www.writelinkpro.co.uk the content providing service for Writelink for the Highly commended and Commended entries plus the three top entries will be published on www.writelink.co.uk

There is a cap of 100 entries so if you think you are up to it then you need to register quickly as we are over three quarters full . Entry fee is £4.50. Results will be out by 1st June, 2004. These will be posted on www.writelink.co.uk and emailed to everyone that entered.
