acting up
On the 16th of July 1926 my mum was giving birth to a baby girl which
was me I doubt that she wanted me very much as 2yrs on she put me in
the most horrendous horrifying home one could ever imagine and left me
there for the next 14yrs but as I am writing this I have obviously survived
which was no easy task and because of that I thought I would treat
myself to this.
Happy birthday to me
Happy birthday dear Kathleen
Happy birthday to me
Now that! has made me feel a whole lot better.
If any one thinks I am going round the bend you could be right but have to
say "I am loving it"...
Oh my oh my I have been away since I posted last and only got home a
little while ago and this is the first time I have put my computer on and this
is strange as I got 19 of your lovely birthday posts and 19 birthday cards
and for your posts I can't thank each and every one of you enough for
taking the time plus the effort, Wow wasn't I luckly and as for Ely's poem
well for once words fail me as that really was something and Ely I will
treasure it for ever as its not often if at all in life one gets a poem writen
for and about them so these are especially for you xxxxxx.
My 50 + eldest son + wife have a really luxurious caravan at a seaside
resort and I am really! talking luxury so that is were I have been for my
bIrthday weekend and apart from an horrendous storm and rain like I
have never ever heard or seen before it lasted for 4 hours I shut myself in
the bathroom because I was absolutely terrified and never expected to be
talking to you all ever again. so the weekend wasn't all it was expected to
be I'm sorry to say but survive it I did and am so pleased as I wouldn't
have liked to have missed this post for the world.
I'm of to my bed now to hopefully have sweet dreams of all you lovely
folks and my thanks comes straight from the heart to you all xxx...

A very happy birthday to you indeed.
1926 you say?
It seems a thousand lives away
All those moments been and gone
The bombs that fell, the sun that shone
The loves you knew, the jokes you told
And now you say you’re old?
You’re talking on the internet
There’s teenage dudes aint been here yet
You’re interfacing with us kath,
Not dreaming of an old tin bath
Or tutting at the lack pledge
You’re really cutting edge
You’ve turned into a cyber nan
And though I’m now a full grown man
And never even seen your face
(although I love your double space)
I half expect, if we should meet,
10p for ‘something sweet’
1926, let’s see,
you’ve lived for more than double me!
Those dreams that do, or don’t come true
For each of mine you’ve managed two
I couldn’t dream the things you’ve seen
So here’s to you Kathleen.
Happy birthday Jay.
That's one of the nicest posts I've ever seen on Abc.
AWWWWW - now I feel all tearful...OH!!!!!
A very happy Birthday Jay
Hey, you've been holding out on me Kath!
