the bastard cousin of the poncho ...
...
has anyone noticed the proliferation of this new type of garment ... it is a very short crocheted atrocity that covers the tits and ties in a knot just underneath them ... it is as the poncho has almost died of shame and slithered down hapless women's bodies and is trying to cling on as it gasps its last ...
brrrr ...
Do you mean I should stop wearing mine?
...
i dont wish to be personal tone ... but i have noticed they are least flattering when there is some kind of pot or spare tyre protruding out from beneath the knottage ...
Whew! I was worried for a moment there that it wasn't the perfect garment for me.
Well I think it looks most fetching Tony.
Ignore her.
...
oh liana! ... tony's matches yours!
And both of ours match hox's slippers.
This is just such a co-incidence.
oh where DID you buy them ... and are they as crunchy as they look?
Yes,a man in slippers and a crocheted top is a statement.
It says "destitute, please help"
Crunchy on the outside, smooth on the inside. I always feel the clothes should reflect the wearer. Don't you?
... was it New Look?
fish - I have matching pop socks and headband that would go SO well with this ensemble. Do you think it might be too much? Would you like to borrow them?
you know tony ... its VERY kind ... sadly i do have my outfit sorted out for tonight ... but i hear stormy petrel might be needing a special get up this weekend ...
Very well then, I get the picture. I bet you've got all the latest gear - flares, platform heels, glitter make-up. See if I care.
There's nothing special about it Fishy, he has to wear restraints every weekend.
At least I'm allowed out. More than I can say for some of us, eh?
this just reminds me of when they launched those nutrigrain bars full of sugar enumbers and fluff and said they were an ideal breakfast for busy people on the run ... my friend said they were the bastard cousin of the pop tart and she was right ...
I always reckoned they started pop socks especially for pop tarts. No need for knickers, you see.
