Brilliant, Emma! Funerals eh?

Was it supposed to make me laugh?

Reminds me of my great gran's funeral a couple of years ago (or 3 years or 4... I'm terrible at remembering when things happened...), The 2nd funeral I have been to, but the first to have a real impact. Really sad and everything - and such a weird thing driving behind the hearse, particularly so when you're part of the procession - but we had such a good time on that day! The jokes, the anecdotes, etc. Funerals bring out the best & the worst in people, and they are also, ironically, such a ripe source of humour - a source which you have tapped most effectively!

Do you know what P, i actually cringed when i re-read it, it has many typo's and its not that funny! I think i wanted to convey the humour to this situation, it really was a bizzarre and funny thing to happen, but i didnt capture that too well. Thank you for flagging it up though, did you notice that i posted it twice - ooops, damm pc, or site gremlins lol, im gonna keep my eye on those guys lol.
Personally I wouldn't worry too much about typo's or not flowing perfectly on this forum ('forum' meant in the general sense...) - personally I see ABC as a showcase, not somewhere where your work is honed to perfection... somewhere where, if you like, you can post 'unfinished' pieces and invite comment & constructive criticism - but maybe that's just me! I thought, in 'Moral Dilemma,' you captured an essence of something very real, immediate and honest... I felt like I was directly reading your actual thoughts... & those thoughts made me laugh! This is, I think, the sort of dark anecdotal humour that may translate to standup comedy or something... "P"
