The first Saturday in November marks the start of a new regular weekly event, "Coffee Culture.
Coffee Culture which will feature poets, short films, performance artists and musicians who sing songs where the words matter. It'll run between 1pm and 5pm every Saturday, and promises to be a great way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon¦ Inspiring performances in a social, friendly atmosphere, surrounded by positive, creative people and perhaps sampling some of our delicious all-day breakfast¦ or of course, just relaxing over a big mug of coffee!
The afternoon will be hosted by the unique and brilliant Joan Coffey, who never fails to entertain. Booked performances will begin at 2pm and will feature this week the first performance in well over a year from poet Ralph Dartford. Ralph will be reading from his soon to be published book 'The Witch of Kennington'.
During the last hour, we will open up the stage to members of the audience who would like to perform. Make sure you show up early to get a seat 'we look forward to seeing you there!
