The Negro Speaks of Rivers

ABCtales homepage today speaks today of the 100th aniversary of Langstone Hughes birth. Hughes wrote the marvellous "The Negro Speaks of Rivers."

Just to let any who may be interested know that Carmon Lundy sings an incredible version of this on her latest album. Unfortunately it carries on from a different track, so until I get home I can't tell you the name of the track.

Well worth a listen though. Very powerful.
