No here's a funny story!

For your information I'm female (this is relevant)

When I was just a beginner (14) I decided that, cause all my mates liked what I was writing and more importantly cause I liked what I was writing, I was going to get my first poetry book published!

So I grabed the book of publishers and wrote down a few names I liked the look of and sent off 45 pages of wonderment. This was thier replys...

Virgin - "We don't publish poetry. Compliemnets from Virgin."

Penguin - "Read some more modern material."
(I know I went for the big ones! I was only young!)

Welsh Women's Poetry Society...

"I am afraid we can not publish your work as you are not Welsh and you are not a woman!"

So - I've now moved to wales and next year I'm sending off my new book and my birth cetificate to show them that I AM A WOMAN!

And the moral of the story is

DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES AND DON'T EVER GIVE UP!

So did you move to Wales to get published? Do we all have to do this? And will we require sex changes?
