He lives!!!!
David Blaine has done it. He made 44 days. He did better than jesus. And, sadly, he is lived through it. He lost 4 stone. Forget Atkins Diet . Lock ya self in a perspex box hanging in the air by the thames and watch people commit suicide, show you their bodies and throw eggs in front of your little box for 44 days and nights and you can lose weight too.

i think he did lose 4 stone AND i think it was worth doing if only for the experience. People are always ranting about how its disgraceful to starve yourself when there are millions starving all over the world..
well, er...no it's not actually. doing an experiment where he wastes a tonne of perfectly good food every day for 44 days would be disgraceful when there are millions......etc. all he did was deprive himself, create a spectacle which we will be discussing for many years in one form or another, up his profile as controversial and somewhat mystical, test himself to either the limit of endurance or the limit of illusion and maybe get a feel for what food means to him and respect it a little more.

he may have buggered up his body for good though. how sensible is that? now he might be ill for the rest of his life...and therefore waste good medical resources etc. also i noticed it was a NHS van that picked him up. Did we pay for his medical attention?
what was all the stuff he said last night about how he saw all his family die? does anyone know?

I think he's a complete tosser (David Blaine). Think about it: there are people in this world that starve to death because of lack of food; and he has the audacity to turn it into his latest "magic trick".
