I quite like this guide to photographs from websites - what they're intended to convey about the subject and what they actually convey.

And given that we now have photos on abc...

ha! fab. Like this comment under the mars christmas cake instructions - Posted: 16:27 Tue 16-12-2003 by "Nebbish" Comment: Has anyone else noticed that women love marzipan? It's like catnip to them. I'm thinking of taking a block out with me when I go clubbing.

hahaha fab... they are missing the one that is in a front room, grinning inanely or pointing at the camera with a surprised look, which is supposed to convey zany and loads of fun, but actually means "ive got no mates, this is a still i took myself with my webcam" mine conveys me on my uni library card scanned in cos i dont care.. or does it?

It is a bit of a techie-website, but it just grabs interesting stuff from all over the net and pastes it up. It is a very quick way of seeing what odd or cool stuff there is flying around. This is where I found the rock-scissors-paper world championship, which was very funny, they take themselves utterly seriously and say things like "He just threw out a toolbox, which is such a hardcore move, but that just let me know that he was an aggressive player and that an avalanche was coming, so I went with the bureaucrat" This week it is mostly focussing on some odd guy's idea for a Christmas MarsBar, which Mars ignored, so he made it himself, replacing the caramel with marzipan... It is also extremely good on the government's erosion of civil liberties. www.ntk.net

In fact, the Christmas Mars bar is so good (I'd forgotten that you replace the nougat with fruit cake), here is the link with photographic instructions... http://www.snackspot.org/thread.php?story=0312100935sbc
