Joy' by stephen_d

I liked this one very much, particularly Your inside eye untouched by dust like a star one million miles away. There is a peaceful and quietly optimistic quality to this poem. Thought I'd give it a cherry, as it cheered me up a little.

There -is- a certain detachment about it; it's not a particularly powerful poem but for some people, maybe 'joy' isn't an overwhelm of ecstasy, but a quiet consideration. I'm personally glad stephen_d is writing poems/stories again, and felt this is one of the stronger ones.

wow, a piece of my work got discussed out with the usual circles ' and it got a cherry'. I think if there was one poem i did not want discussed it would have been my poem Joy. It is both personell but at the same time meant to inspire those who read it. Probably to those who just see beuaty' in words. My work rarley gets recognised on this site in any form. In all the years that i have used it two pieces of work have ever flagged up and any kind of constructive comments given on how to improve for publishing ect. But thanks for your comments.
