Is it just me...

...who gets an itchy eye whilst washing up?

Get a dishwasher!
I've got a dishwasher - me! All that expense. All that waste. I've become a recycle junkie. I'm trying to think of where to put my compost box in my studio flat. To save water I only flush when I can smell the loo from 3 flights down. Maybe if I put the compost box in the loo, then I wouldn't be able to differentiate. My friend Maryanne the millionairess has just bought a place in Spain, and one is not allowed to put loo paper down the loo. Eeewww!

>>> one is not allowed to put loo paper down the loo Ew! They do that in Greece'n'all... Nasty!! I have the same type of dishwasher that Styxbroox has. Somehow I don't think the landlord would deem the expense warranted on account of my itchy eye... :-) * P * :-) ( Read my blog! - www.oddcourgette.blogspot.com )

The landlord! Do landlords buy kitchen goods for tenants then?
Not a such, it's one of those flats that came all fitted with stuff, which can't be moved, removed or altered in any way... like a Grade 2 listed house... but not... :-) * P * :-) ( Read my blog! - www.oddcourgette.blogspot.com )

Obviously as inane as this one!

I love inanity, me. :-) * P * :-) ( Read my blog! - www.oddcourgette.blogspot.com )

That is blatantly obvious for all to see. It's also one of the reasons that the forum has sunk into a trough of boredom, and a contributory factor in the exodus of the more lively members that used to make the forum so much fun in the past.

Discussion is discussion, n'est-ce pas? If there are people who are taking part, enjoying it, getting something out of it, isn't that all that matters? Forums evolve... people come, people go... If you don't like the discussions here, start another one! (BTW, you may have noticed that I do sometimes get serious and philosophical here, but sometimes I like to be lighthearted and silly... inane even!) :-) * P * :-) ( Read my blog! - www.oddcourgette.blogspot.com )

Ya know, there are more than a few people who buy, and most probably even read, the Daily Wail, but I doubt it really matters to many. I guess you may be one of the few, however.

OK, let's get one thing straight... my girlfriend + I buy the Daily Mail on Saturdays, because it has a good TV mag... My own personal association with said periodical ends there... My girlfriend reads portions of the DM, not because of its political/moral (supposedly) leanings, but because it is more "intelligent" than your average tabloid. I could not possibly be a DM-aphile, for the following reasons... 1. I enjoy violent videogames. 2. I wholeheartedly approve of Tory Party leaders being crudely questioned by talkshow hosts. 3. I like cheesy, meaningless films. ...amongst other things which I haven't thought of yet. In relation to the point you were making, I don't expect anyone to think my postings matter; I will just be happy to think that they have caused the odd ABCer to chuckle, go "hmm" or think "what the diddly is he on about?"... in fact, any reaction will do really... including yours! :-) * P * :-) ( Read my blog! - www.oddcourgette.blogspot.com )
