Incwriters based in Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham and London, will re-open its doors to the Internet public and its six thousand plus members this Saturday. The site has been designed by the website company, Marsh, and will provide an interactive design with common sense knowledge of the Literary and Publishing Industry. New and established opportunities for writers, readers, promoters and publishers will now be under one roof. The new look site has been rejuvenated into a high-end visual cornucopia boasting an interactive forum, where users can name and shame vanity presses, a chat room for online workshops; an audio publisher and a growing downloads section.

The new visual look of the site will give Incwriters the space to grow, forums will give promoters and publishers chance to promote their work. The new downloads section will grow with fact sheets and recommended magazines, publishers and poets. Online workshops from established poets will be free and available to members and a new live literature CD publishing house will sit beside the established web publications, Red Ink and Incorporating Writing.

Incwriters Patrons are the poets Esther Morgan and Clare Pollard, and the novelist, Janice Galloway. Founded by Andrew Oldham, William Park, Bixby Monk and Ian Parks in 2004. The four writers have over 50 years experience in the Literary and Publishing Industry and chose to launch a one stop website as their latest venture. Andrew says, 'The UK needs an online resource that stays up to date, is managed by members, and represents reputable publishers, new and established writers and makes links with readers. We provide a welcoming, positive and high quality experience'.

Incwriters is run by volunteers and members, readers and writers, publishers and promoters who believe that new technology can work in partnership with established forms of publishing. Patron, Clare Pollard, says, 'Whilst other sites seem to cater to comfortable niches, Incwriters is a network with serious breadth and ambition¦an essential space for engagement with every aspect of our literary culture'.

Incwriters also now houses a free foum at:
